ਲਾਊਡੇ ਵੇਲੇ - लौडे वेले - Laude vele - Dawn
ਤਰਕਾਲਾਂ ਵੇਲੇ - तरकालां वेले - Tarkalaan Vele - Dusk
ਮਾਹੀ/ ਮਾਹੀਵਾਲ - माही/माहीवाल Mahiwal / Mahi - Goatsherd / Shepherd / Cowherd

Since floods, carpenters, and so forth still exist, do you simply mean to say that other words have replaced the listed words?
Hi Snowbrush: Yes. These are words from old Punjabi. Today, we use words that are closer to Hindi.
That's good to know because, for example, if the word for carpenter were no longer used in America, it would mean that carpenters no longer existed here.
