Hi nm: Thanks! I found some more time to get here tonight as my mother sleeps with the baby for a while. It is overwhelming - this new job!
A surgery usually requires a slightly longer recovery time, and thats where I am now.
Hi Twisted DNA: Loved ur latest post.
"And it took you a week to announce it!? :P" - 5 days out of that week were spent in a hospital bed, and the other 2 under painkillers... there was also a surgery - remember? ;-)

Hi Adi(oops, blog uncle): Thank you! :-) Hamare bete ka naam Ishaan hai. We did not go the akshar route. We just chose a name we liked and kept it. Coincidentally, the name also fits him astrologically. Good for everyone!!
Hi Tell me no more: Thank you! :-)
Hi Phosgene kid: Yes, he does keep me up till 2 and more. My mother does the staying up at night. She's around for a few more days, till the doc gives me a green signal on the internal stitches.
I used to think he will wear me out, but so far, it goes OK. of course, the tough times are yet to start.
I gave him the hug for u. He looked happy :-)
was VERY tempted to put up a picture of the little one here, but then decided to go with the rule of no personal pictures on the net... so, there won't be any pics of him here.. :-( but i'll do a word sketch of him soon..
Thank you for all the messages here.. they tell me you think of me often, and thats nice to know :-)

Hi Dharma: Bless me O Lord, not that i should know, but that I should remember, when it is important to remember. That poem is my beacon to parenthood too! :-)
