Creating a personal diary on the net.

I found a way to create a personal diary on the net. Its like your personal journal and even if people know the url, they cannot read till they have access. Thought some of you might like to know.

Step 1 - Create a new blog.
Step 2 - Change preferances for this blog to not appear on your profile.
Step 3 - For the new blog, change preferances for reading options also. Ask for authorisation to read the url. Only people you specify as readers will be able to read the url.

There, as simple as 1-2-3. Now all your personal catharsis can happen on blogosphere too!

Personal diary on net..
I wonder why would anybody need that? If it is personal it doesn;t need networking isn't it ?

May be I am missing an angle here! plz enlighten.

How do we know said...

hi Chiya: :-) Simply means i can write my diary and read it anywhere... this blog was also started more as an anonymous journal of opinionation.
Also means no risk of the diary falling into the hands of someone you know...

was just told recently about how the internet is slowly but steadily being cluttered with information. relevant examples cited in this regard are mails that go undeleted - google mail is only agging to that! don't know if blogging does the same too.

used to write diaries for a long time, as a youngster (younger-ster, if u like!) but somewhere, i got bored of it and gave it up.
