1. When browsing the internet, it is ok to allow cookies on all sites.
False - Check the cookie usage policy of the site carefully and then decide if you want to save cookies.

2. All sites have the same privacy settings, so its ok to accept without reading.
False - We should never underestimate the importance of privacy settings.

3. I cannot be tracked to my house using the pictures I upload on Facebook.
False - There is a feature called geotagging that is usually on by default in most phone cameras. Please disable this in your phone, then specifically disable location.

4. Most websites recommend that we should sign in using our facebook account. It is fast and easy and secure.
False - These sites are what is called "Third Party" sites for Facebook. You may not want to share all your information with each of these sites without being sure of their security platform. As a thumb rule, keep your social media as strictly private as possible. Do not share facebook data with unverified third party sites. Facebook has no control over how these sites use your data.

5. Anti virus Software does not protect us from the internet.
False

6. It is great to post when I am with a friend to facebook.
False - Do you know who can see that post? Do you know what they will use that information for? They can use it to stalk you, to answer secret questions about your friends and to steal your very identity. Who you meet and where you go, should not be on facebook, or should be there as little as possible.

7. iCloud is automatically enabled on all Apple Devices.
True - Yes. Unless you stop it, all your personal data will be stored on Apple's icloud.

8. Apple has the best security in the world.
False - There is no such thing as "best security". But in terms of pure numbers and facts, icloud security is not foolproof. Nor is it transparent.

9. The "Darknet" is a fictional space in the Game of Thrones online game.
False

10. Online shopping is absolutely secure.
False - While most e commerce companies do make the effort to make their sites secure, less ethical sites may not. Further, data has been stolen from ecommerce sites many times. A good practice would be to not save your card data or personal identity data on any website.
