Today, I mentioned to someone that I don't think about self, so what others think of me is usually a blind spot. I have no idea how I am doing.. the person wondered where that is coming from.. I tried to explain the concept of bubbles and self. But it was only at home that I really figured it out.
I don't think about self because I don't have a concept of self. When we see people as "selves", we see them as stars, and a collection of these stars is a galaxy - a little like The Milky Way. But that law by Newton - Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it only changes form - is the exact same thing that the Geeta says about the Soul - it cannot be created or destroyed, it only changes form.
Another thing - that is very prevalent in Sanskrit thought - The microcosm and the macrocosm, reside in each other. I have truly experienced that.
So, I see the world, not as a galaxy, but as a pure, harmonious, unending wave of energy, not obstructed by concepts of self. When we take those obstructions of "self" away, we see only the flowing river of energy - which can neither be disturbed, nor created, nor destroyed. I see it so clearly, yet cannot describe it. Its one of those things that you experience in meditation, but cannot explain to anyone else. Yet it is real. I experience it, but cannot describe it. Because words slow us down.
जो भी मैं, कहना चाहूँ, बर्बाद करें, अलफ़ाज़ मेरे।

Yes Nidhi. It is as real as it gets. Feel it, enjoy it... don't worry describing it.. cheers !!
We are a fluid concept...we flow from one form to another...from one image to another...from one facade to another.
I would give your words a slightly different twist...we always have a concept of self. Well thinking we don't have an image of self, is also an image of self :)
You know like water...it doesn't have a form, yet we picture it as an ocean more often than not. So by not have a form of self...we picture ourselves as an ocean of possibilities
Lucifer.. this is what I love abt blog friends.. they really REALLY know you.. like no one else can.
