The glass veil
is not made of glass
it is made of
centuries of shame
heaped upon our collective shoulders
and left there
to become
in time
the fertile manure of "sanskaar"
from which,
will emerge
millions of shoulders
who are genetically programmed
to carry the burden of shame
and to transfer it to other shoulders
no matter how unwilling.

Until , one day
a mutation comes
and refuses to carry
the centuries old burden...

To be contd..
