Why you should participate in Emotional Atyachar only if you want your relationship to end..

I have to admit- this reality show has my attention. In Emotional Atyachar, you can do a loyalty test on your partner at a small price - the whole country gets to see the results, and your partner finds out at the end.
The modus operandi is simple - a model is hired to try and flirt with your partner for a few days. All their interactions are recorded, and you get to see the footage after a few days of this. Then, after seeing the footage, you confront your partner.

Lets see what the outcome of this is likely to be:
  • If your partner cheats on you, you break your heart, AND lose your relationship, AND all the viewers in the country get to know for free. Imagine your parents watching that show.
  • If the partner does not cheat, they will anyway dump you, because you did a what??
SO, you should only go to Emotional Atyachar if you want that relationship to end anyway..
But you know what? Its a really bad way to break your heart..

i have always wondered, why are people so hungup on fidelity? why should fidelity and love go together? why the possessiveness as in "if- only then"? Are these 'heartbroken' souls so insecure at core, that possessing becomes a must in any relationship?

How do we know said...

maybe its not about possessiveness, and maybe it is.. maybe its about the simple fact that you were lied to.. we are taught that fidelity is a necessary condition for love.. like in the middle ages, women were taught that coexistence with the other wives was a necessary life skill.

May be so far all the outcomes have been negative. In some cases we did found the guy/girl wanted to end so called relationship but cudn't find spot which EA provided unintentionally . We need to understand that there is a little flirty-ness within all of us and when u met some beautiful model that pert play over ur normal behaviour.
I don't know may be i m wrong never been in a relationship :(

i have to admit i watch this show regularly...its very addictive...and most reality shows thrive on voyeurism that indians love since they are are so repressed...they seem to have cracked our psyche and now they know we'll watch them anyways...apparently EA is not real, its scripted and hires actors to play parts...i saw that on a news channel...disgusting i know..did u know there's even one reality show where the winner gets to win a darshan to gangotri or something? i'm not kidding abt this..

Isn't fidelity then only a legal requirement (to suit changing laws as per the current social structures) rather than anything deeper? Why do people (or for that matter children) lie HDWK? Is it to keep up to the high standards (sometimes impossible) set by others, law...?

What channel airs this? I havent even heard abt this one!

But doesn't it look so set-up? I really doubt people do the things they show the cheating partner doing on the first or second date. Make out, have sex - yes. But do a waltz in someone's house - pretty weird.

I wonder if the stories they show are real or just fake people imitating fake relations for TRPs

Hi Amrita: :-)

Hi Rishi: no, i saw at least 2 episodes where the partner cleared the test, and then they dumped the partner when they found out that they were set up for a loyalty test.

Hi Mayz: i watched just this one.. and Boogie Woogie..

Hi Manish: :-)

Hi Only One: hope the days ahead are less busy-ish! :-) gud to c u again.

Hi Estella: I was hooked to the first episode i saw too. and then i thot..har baar 4-5 din mein itna kuchh nahi ho sakta.. some black in the pulse... thats what i still think..

Hi Anonymous: No, fidelity is an inherent need for some ppl, just as infidelity is an inherent need for some ppl too.. today, it is a legal requirement, but that by itself does not negate the fact that it is a also an emotional need for some people. Learned? i dont think so.. even in the middle ages, one gender did insist on loyalty, and the other gender could not reciprocate the insistence..

Hi N: Some channel called bindass..

Hi D: My thots exactly!

Hi peenuts: pata nahi.. seriously!

Hi Mama mia: hmmm.. the things ppl did on Sach Ka saamna.. beats everything else..

Hi deepti: what sells, gets made.. simble!

I have never watched this show though i heard the concept...i always believed that.. if you believe in true love then it never needs to be tested.. if it has to be tested.. then its just not worth it... it makes sense to let it go than to go thru all the hurt and humiliation...
