On Linked In Content Creation

Today, I learnt a really important lesson.

A content creator whose posts I used to value and read wrote a stray positive comment on a post that was really... well, underwhelming.

However, this post came up on my feed and seeing the creator's name, some time was spent on it before realising that this was not adding value.

Since there is no way to tell LI that we like the POSTS of a content creator but not their likes, the only thing to do would be to unfollow the creator and manually go back to their content once a week or so.

Lesson for the day:

If you are a content creator of value, it is equally important to pay attention to your likes and comments - because they will also come up in people's feed as your activity.

An experiment

Let's try an experiment. Take an object, any object, in your house. Touch it with love everyday. While going out of the house, touch it gently and say Bye. When you enter, touch it again and say, "I'm home".

Within 2 months, you will find that the object radiates love. You will feel happier when u stand near that object. And so will the people who come to your house. Without any reason, that will become the favourite "spot" of everyone in the house.

What is happening here, is simply this - Love, as an energy, is unbeatable. Like a sponge, the object absorbs love. And then, it starts to radiate love back. It doesn't matter whether the object is animate or inanimate. It doesn't matter if its a pet or an idol. Or even a rock pet. This WILL happen. The target object is completely immaterial.

Now, imagine if you were doing this to people sharing the house with you. Or a child. Or a colleague. A friend.
