Raped.

are words
Shot dead.

  4. OMG!
    so cutting and enigmatic...
what should we do after all?

this morning... these words started dancing in my head: to say or not to say; that is the question...
i was working on them as my new post... and now i'm reading your touching words... you made me pause... ponder more...
    namaste!

  8. Hi All: Thank you for liking this piece. It was written way back in 2004 and remains one of my favorites.

Hi mayz: I agree with thinktank.. tumhe samajhnahi aaya to kise ayega.

Hi human being: Talk abt coincidences!

Hi Adi: Ok, let me answer that one for you. Bcs you are the one asking. I was going thru my diary of 2004 and bumped into this one. It kind of matches the mish mash that life is at the moment.. so it comes on. lots of things i like from that diary are coming up. Be prepared. :-)

  12. hi howdy, sorry for nt being around, have been very busy and ill too, but nw m fine...

at times the outcry is way too quietening that it goes unheard and at times silences way too heavy and loud to go unheard...
the shot keeps ringing in the ears long after it kills and continues to do so like ur poem does.

  13. so small.. yet so sharp ...it just hits u and so very true...ur words come out with so much of power...trust me..few words ... but they seem to speak volumes

  14. Revive them now
    Don't sit back;
till there is a word for every silence
    and silences speak every word

  15. I've never thought of it that way. That's a very interesting way to put it.

  16. one doesn't experience holy silence very often. there is always a bird, the wind, a car going by with the radio on.
words are no more harmful than bullets or food. One has to be mindful of them.
    silence is death.
but i love your poem. i recognise the truth in it, and respond to it.

  20. you have branded words as criminal, but words are enlightenment and torch bearers.

Why such an injustice to words by giving them tag rapist ,A practice which is done by human kind.

  21. reminds me of a chessboard and the eternal argument around the subjectivity of truth.

  22. Hi Jasdeep: I agree... sometimes.. words are torchbearers.. and sometimes.. they are not so welcome.
True.. it is people who rape.. and people who voice those words.. the words are not the rapists.. they are the act of rape.
    Loved ur comment! :-)

Hi Varun: Tell me more abt this..

  30. These 10 words have said more than a book. Thank you for being so frugal with words... it takes a shorter time to read, BUT longer to comprehend, and am still not sure if I have fully comprehended the content and the context. Thank you for stimulating my brain.
