yes yes i knew! And so I have tupperware jars to store water. But lately, cos of the overbearing presence of tupperware everywhere, I am beginning to suspect it too. Any idea what quality that is ?
Hi G: I checked yesterday. Tupperware is supposedly a slightly better quality of plastic. Wait let me try and get that link for you again. http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/plastics.html Tupperware is Grade 5, these bottles are Grade 1.
Hi Himashu: :-) I think, this means that we should reuse the mineral water / Thums up bottles, but ensure that we change them often enough.
Generally, a plastic is mistaken as a PET bottles.PET bottles are made from polyester granules which are certified as food grade and are safe. All pet bottles are plastic bottles-but-all plastic bottles are not pet bottles.
@ Neha: Please read under your disposable water bottle. It says (1) with a small PET or PETE written under it. The disposable water bottles are the same grade as Pearlpet water bottles. I have not said that they are not food grade. Just that they are the same grade..
