Yes Brutus, me too.. A Baby blog

There, i have resisted the temptation for too long... to not have a blog for my baby(for multiple reasons, primary being privacy on the net.)
And finally, parenting has pervaded all my life, and there, Brethren and Sistren, is a blog for my baby. Mercifully for you, its only open to invited readers.. but what is below, i wanted to share with everyone..

Where do i keep
the precious pearls,
that you drop
into my life
everyday?
The small memories... of little things..
like gold coins..
the moon sightings.. like silver pieces..
where do i hold
the treasure?

For paper ages
and ink fades
and memory
is a strange friend
turning up
only at its whim.

Here then, under lock and key,
I bring my treasures to keep...

Guess that's true of all moms who blog - or isn't it?

  1. It's a good idea :) This way you have the privacy of a diary and sharing and communication of a blog. Enjoy your mommy blog :)

  3. You know I am still struggling with that decision. Private blog seems like a good idea though. :)

  4. That's a lovely thing to do. There are so many things we think we'll remember forever, but the details can vanish.

    you are a gem...

and what a bad mother i am!
my daughter always tells me she wants her own blog to put up her paintings and writings but i have resisted!
it will take a lot of my limited time...

  8. Hi Z: :-)

Hi human being: How old is your daughter? Maybe you could teach her to do it herself.. and then just help her along if required?
Want to give it a shot?
One thing i will never believe about you - that youre a bad mother.. you can never be a bad mother.. in fact, few, if any, can be a bad mother.. its inborn.. the surge of love that we feel... :-)
